UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN
DOCUMENTED BY NICHOLAS EFIMTSEV, STARRING LIZA KAZBEKOVA
Nicholas Efimtsev’s photography captures the seasonal Campaign for Vakproject on a road trip to Tuscany.

Vakproject designer Liza Kazbekova is driven and inspired by the geometries of landscapes, volumes of light and colour — warm, rich earth tones that feel both rustic and elegant — rust orange and golden ochre are amongst the leading colours of the collection where prints are non-existent and instead neutral solid colours and loose fitting silhouettes become the main staple. Enjoy the ready-to-wear minimal aesthetic.

There is plenty of sunshine in the region in August, so the decision was made to shoot at dawn to capture the unforgettable light of the warm amber Tuscan light. The chosen spot was — a villa, in a pine forest near the sea which was built by a Moroccan architect back in 1968. White facades, bold accent walls, soothing neutral colours of the desert, such as sand, taupe, and beige — all of which are present in Vakproject’s new collection of clothes.

Kazbekova and Efimtsev travelled up and down the beautiful rolling hills, stopping off at charming villages, enjoying picturesque views in search for beautiful locations and mesmerising sights in a very spontaneous manner — Tuscany is so full of history and beauty — you meet wonders of art and architecture on almost every corner and every moment feels like a timeless masterpiece.
